Developing Mental Resilience at Work - Panel Discussion

With the landscape of many modern workplaces being characterised by long hours, tight deadlines and organisational change, it’s not uncommon for employees to face unhealthy levels of stress.

We believe that no one deserves to suffer in silence. Help us break the silence and join in on this discussion around mental health and workplace stress in support of World Mental Health Day.

What to Expect:
  • A 1.5hr panel discussion and Q&A session with 5 wellness professionals, sharing various strategies to tackle and build resilience against excessive workplace stress
  • A wellness bazaar where you can explore different organisations and practitioners from the health and wellness industry including TCM, Clinical Neuroplasticity, Counselling, Psychotherapy, Psychology and Spinal Flow Technique professionals
  • An opportunity to network over healthy food and drinks

Alex is a co-founder of Biohackers Inc Singapore, the company responsible for the flagship NovoTHOR light pod in Asia, and the distributor for the light pod in Asia. He is also a community-building advocate, having started a ground-up initiative – Kampung Collective, a non-discriminatory support network of community builders for community builders, where everyone adds value to each others' roles as community builders.

Beata Justkowiak holds an MA in Psychology with a specialisation in Personal Counselling from Poznan University and is a Certified Life Coach. Her expertise lies in healthy lifestyle habits, creating balance, building self-confidence, managing stress and emotions and developing mental strength to help cope better.

Relationship Counsellor and Psychotherapist

Deepika is a registered relationship counsellor and psychotherapist. She completed her Master Degree in Social Science (Professional Counselling) from Swinburne University of Technology. Her primary areas of focus and interest include, but are not limited to, mental health symptoms like depression, anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain and other emotional difficulties associated with prolonged distress in the body and in key relationships in life.

Helen is a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, in training with the University of California San Diego Medical School's Center For Mindfulness. She is also a Kundalini Yoga practitioner and a Birth Doula in training, registered with the Doulas Of Singapore.

Dr Matthew Woo is currently a principal consultant clinical psychologist and director of Riverlife Psychology. He specialises in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing) therapy and also uses CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) to enhance the application of positive thinking and coping strategies in the application to problems related to mental health.
